How the team checks its work
In simple words, this is how each article is checked before it is published here:
- Prices and GitHub stars are checked on the official pages — the vendor's own pricing page or the project's own repository — on the date stated on the article. Prices change, so every price carries its checked date.
- Move-guide steps are checked against the official help pages of the tools involved, so the export, import and menu steps match what the tool itself documents.
- Checkers are self-reported. The quizzes, checkers and calculators on this site work only from the boxes you tick and the numbers you type, in your browser — and nothing is uploaded. No checker reads a real vault, workspace or account.
Why there is no personal byline yet
No personal author name or photo is shown yet. Add a real name and a real photo here before publishing if you want a personal byline.
Until then, articles carry the team byline you see under every article title — “By Alternative Kits Team” — and the mark on this page is just the letters “AK” in a circle: a team mark, not a person's photo. No name, biography, email address or social profile for an individual author is shown anywhere on this site, because none has been provided.
